Ukraine should reduce energy consumption by 5% every year, European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Johannes Hahn said.
“Energy efficiency is one of the key goals of our joint initiatives”, he said. “Our goal is to improve energy efficiency by 5% every year”, Hahn said.
He said that Ukraine should focus on energy efficiency measures in private houses. Several previous winters in Ukraine were warm, but this would not last forever. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
