In January-June Ukraine imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) valued at $678.2 million, in particular $102.09 million in June.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the Russian Federation delivered coal worth $446.26 million, the United States – $95.93 million, Australia – $43.28 million, other countries – $92.72 million.
The total volume of coal delivered to the country in the six months of this year amounted to 7.77 million tons.
In January-June Ukraine exported 286,93 tons of coal and anthracite valued at $23.05 million, in particular to Slovakia for $12.99 million, Russia for $4.69 million, Turkey for $3.6 million and other countries for $1.75 million.
In 2015 Ukraine imported 14.59 million tons of coal and anthracite valued at $1.63 billion, in particular $771.31 million worth of coal from Russia, $399.24 million from US, $123.68 million from Kazakhstan, and $338.22 million from other countries. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
