As part of the “Made in Ukraine| policy to support Ukrainian manufacturers, 154 grants have been approved for entrepreneurs. 140 are for industrialists to purchase production equipment, and 14 are for farms to establish orchards and greenhouses. Applications are still being accepted. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“This year, manufacturers have already submitted 140 grant applications for the development and restoration of processing enterprises to the tune of UAH 865 million. Of these, 6 are for the restoration of production facilities damaged by russian shelling,” noted the Head of Government. “Among the applicants are manufacturers of food products, construction materials, clothing, metal structures, glass, printing products, aircraft, and plastic and wood products. The companies that have applied will create nearly 1,400 new jobs. The grants are being used to purchase production equipment.”
In total, since the launch of the development and recovery programs, nearly 1,400 grants have been issued for a total amount of UAH 6.7 billion.
The programs are being implemented as part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy for the development of Ukrainian manufacturers:
– Up to UAH 8 million – development grant;
– Up to UAH 16 million – recovery grant.
Grant eligibility requirements: 50/50 co-financing (70/30 if purchasing Ukrainian equipment) and the creation of at least 5 jobs.
Applications are currently being accepted.
“The first grants for orchards and greenhouses in 2026 have been approved – 14 projects totaling UAH 51.5 million. Funding for these projects in communities will begin shortly,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko. “The grant funds will be used to develop horticulture, berry farming, and viticulture, as well as greenhouse farming-including the establishment of new orchards and the construction of modern greenhouse complexes. This will increase fruit and vegetable production and strengthen local economies.”
In total, UAH 465 million is allocated for this program in 2026. For projects in frontline and de-occupied regions, the state may cover up to 80% of the cost. We support agricultural producers and strengthen the country’s food security. (Government Portal)
