Asus has completely stopped warranty service for devices with an international warranty in Russia and Belarus from January 1, 2026. This is stated in an internal notification from the manufacturer’s Russian division, addressed to service partners and published by a well-known repair specialist, Viktor Veklich (Vik-on). Authorized service centers are now prohibited from accepting devices under warranty that were officially supplied to other countries and have an international warranty status, according to the document.
As noted by iXBT, owners of such equipment will now have to turn to service centers in those countries where Asus’s international service program continues to operate – for example, in other CIS countries. This deprives buyers in Russia and Belarus, who purchased devices through parallel imports or abroad, of all warranty benefits. In the event of a breakdown, they will either have to pay for the repair themselves or arrange to send the device to another country, writes the portal (The Moscow Times).
