In January-August Ukraine imported $902.221 million worth of coal and anthracite, in particular $104.331 million in August.
According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied coal for $594.937 million, the United States for $132.658 million, Australia for $49.461 million, other countries for $125.165 million.
The total volume of coal delivered to the country for the first eight months of this year amounted to 10.195 million tons.
In January-August Ukraine exported 379,470 tons of coal and anthracite valued at $31.589 million, in particular to Slovakia for $18.053 million, Russia for $7.137 million, Turkey for $3.807 million, and other countries – for $2.593 million. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
