About 31% of Bulgarian companies have used the services of the Bulgarian Trade and Economic Services abroad, according to a survey by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
32% of respondents said they did not know what services the foreign representative offices of the Ministry of Economy provided.
37% indicated that they only worked on the Bulgarian market and did not use the services of Bulgarian trade and economic missions abroad.
71% of respondents are in favor of opening new representative offices abroad and point to such destinations as China, Singapore, Australia, Sweden and Finland. 57% believe that it is necessary to increase the number of employees in countries such as China and Germany.
58% of companies have contacted their representative offices for assistance in finding business partners or participating in fairs and other events. 68% want their representative offices to be proactive in organizing specific business contacts and forums. (Novinite)
