Ukraine and Finland signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support.
“I am grateful to our Finnish partners and Minister Antti Hakkanen for a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth EUR 188 million. We are also stepping up our defence cooperation,” said Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
Finland will provide long-term military and financial assistance and deepen cooperation in the political, financial, humanitarian sectors and in reform process.
“We are stronger together. Thank you for your unwavering support,” Rustem Umerov added.
The total amount of support provided by Finland to Ukraine since the beginning of russia’s large-scale aggression is about EUR 2 billion. (Government portal)
