In December, 34.7% of the Polish public saw the situation in Ukraine as a major threat to the Polish economy, down by 2% MoM, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported.
The situation in Ukraine was perceived as a moderate threat by 44.5% of respondents (-0.1%) and as a low threat by 16.5% (+2.1%). A further 4.3% of pollees said it represented no threat at all (+0.2%).
For 12.1% of those polled the situation in Poland’s eastern neighbour represented a major threat to their personal financial situation (-0.9%) and for 34.8% it was a moderate threat (-0.3%), while 33.4% of the public considered the threat to be small (+3.6%).
For 19.7% of respondents the war in Ukraine represented no personal financial threat (-2.4%). (The First News/Business World Magazine)
