In July, Ukraine exported 2.66 million tons of agricultural products, up by 22.7% MoM, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported.
“In July, Ukraine exported 2.66 million tons of grains, legumes, oilseeds and their by-products products (excluding rapeseeds), up by 492,700 tons, or by 22.7%,” the report reads.
Ukraine’s wheat exports rose more than 3-fold, to about 412,000 tons.
Ukraine also shipped 183,000 tons of barley for export, which exceeded the volume of 26,000 tons of this grain crop exported a month earlier.
The actual corn exports rose by 84,700 tons in July and came to 1.1 million tons.
Exports of sunflower seeds came to 362,100 tons, down by 33%.
The export of soybeans last month amounted to 141,055 tons, compared with almost 71,300 tons in the previous month.
Ukraine’s soybean oil exports decreased to 15,700, from 18,000 tons in June.
The actual sunflower oil exports amounted to 307,000 tons in July, up by 39,400 tons.
In addition, Ukraine shipped 141,500 tons of meal to foreign markets in July, up by 48,300 tons. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
