The real gross domestic product of Ukraine grew by 2.1% YoY in the third quarter of 2017, according to the report published on the website of Ukraine’ State Statistics Service.
Earlier, on November 14, the statistics agency released preliminary estimates claiming that GDP growth in Ukraine in the third quarter also amounted to 2.1% in annual terms.
According to the updated data, compared with the second quarter of 2017, taking into account the seasonal factor, GDP grew by 0.2%, which also corresponds to earlier published estimates. It is also noted that the nominal GDP in the third quarter was at UAH 821.3 billion, and GDP per capita – at UAH 19,320. According to the agency’s data, GDP growth in the third quarter in annual terms slowed after growing by 2.3% in the second quarter and by 2.5% in the first quarter. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
