Ukraine had as of September 12 sown 535,000 hectares with winter grain crops for the 2018 harvest, which is 7% of the plan, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry has said on the website.
In particular, winter wheat and triticale crops were sown on 503,000 ha (8% of the plan), rye crops on 20,000 ha (12%), and barley on 12,000 ha (1%).

As of the said date, Ukraine has threshed 37.5 million tons of early grain and leguminous crops from 9.7 million ha (100%) with an average yield of 3.38 tons per hectare. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
