In Poltava region 130 employers received compensation for employing more than 460 internally displaced persons since the beginning of 2025. The state paid them UAH 11.3 million. This was reported by the acting head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut.
“According to this indicator, our region is in the top three in Ukraine,” said Volodymyr Kohut. “Employers are actively using the state program, which is an important step in supporting businesses and people who lost their homes due to the war. Working in a new place contributes to their integration, financial stability, and economic development of the region and the country as a whole.”
For each employed IDP, the state pays the employer compensation in the amount of the minimum wage (currently UAH 8,000) for 3 months and for the employment of IDPs with disabilities – for 6 months. (Poltava Regional Military Administration)
