At its session on May 24, the Cabinet of Ministers passed a resolution that set a profit margin up to 25% of the cost of ammunition for domestic producers. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, this will encourage manufacturers to expand and modernise their production lines. At the same time, the Government expects to see new companies and new investments.
“Over the past two years, we have significantly increased the domestic production of weapons. Among the most successful cases is the revolution in the manufacturing of various types of drones. One of the drivers of success was the involvement of private manufacturers. We set a profit margin of 25% for them, and as a result, our drone production increased 100-fold in a year,” the Prime Minister said.
The Government will now scale up this successful case with drones to produce ammunition. (Government portal)
