President Maia Sandu continued the consultations on the referendum concerning Moldova’s accession to the European Union. Representatives of Moldova’s National Trade Unions Confederation and of the member organizations were present at the table of discussions.
At the meeting, the head of state highlighted the role of the trade unions in the protection of the rights of employees and creation of jobs, as well as the encouraging of the efficiency and enhancing the productivity through the taking over of the good European practices.
The Moldovan president stressed the importance of a correct informing and communication about EU in each community, as this proves the unity and the support of the entire society for the European integration project.
