Agricultural chambers will be set up in Moldova – an institutional system that will help achieve development priorities of the agricultural sector and rural environment. According to the draft law approved by the Government, they will be set up in two levels: regional agricultural chambers and the National Agricultural Chamber.
It aims to support the development of the agricultural community and the promotion of the integration of new technologies, innovations and good practices. Also, farmers will be able to collaborate to address specific issues and promote their interests in relation to public authorities, national and international institutions and organizations.
At the same time, agricultural chambers will provide farmers with access to necessary resources and information, including training programs and financing, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences among members. A farmer may be a member of only one regional agricultural chamber.
The law is to be approved by the Parliament. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
