Moldovan doctors will benefit from professional training courses in minimally-invasive surgery in Poland. Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Tomasz Grodzki made the statement at a meeting with Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco on January 26.
Nemerenco thanked the Polish partners for the support of the health system in the country, especially in modernizing and strengthening of the technical and material base of medical institutions. The importance of the renovation and modernization projects of the Mother and Child Institute was emphasized. Since July 2022, the project to equip this institution with medical devices worth over 1 million euros has been underway.
Tomasz Grodzki noted the similarity of the challenges of adapting the sanitary systems of the two countries to the EU standards and the usefulness of taking over the positive Polish experience. Thus, he offered to facilitate the organization of free training courses in the minimally-invasive surgery for doctors from the Republic of Moldova in specialized institutions in Poland.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation efforts and use the positive experience in the context of adapting the medical and sanitary system of the Republic of Moldova to the country’s European integration agenda. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
