Moldova will receive an additional loan of 100 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). MPs ratified on December 8 the Amendment No. 3 to the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the EBRD on construction works and road rehabilitation.
Under the document, the money will be invested in the construction and rehabilitation of roads in the Republic of Moldova.
Thus, the following road sections are to be repaired: road R14, R6 – Codrul Nou – Soroca – Unguri – border with Ukraine, on the Soroca Arionesti sector; road R8.1, R8 – Arionesti – R14, sector Arionesti – Otaci; the M3 road Chisinau – Comrat – Giurgiulesti – the border with Romania, bypassing the city of Vulcanesti; road R33 Hancesti – Lapusna – M1.
