The Government continues to create the best conditions for Ukrainian business, as it understands that business is the backbone for economic growth and recovery. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal dwelled on that during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on June 14.
“After the start of the full-scale war, we have been issuing affordable loans averaging over UAH 2 billion a week. This has allowed thousands of Ukrainian entrepreneurs and their employees to resume their jobs. Therefore, “5-7-9” will not sink into oblivion. Preferential rates under the “5-7-9″ program will remain in force. We are currently working on simplifying the conditions for obtaining such loans,” Denys Shmyhal stressed.
The Prime Minister assured that the increase in the NBU discount rate would not affect the “5-7-9” program: “The program was, is and will be. Despite the situation with rates and the decision of the National Bank, we will develop a program so that small and medium-sized businesses not only survive, but also have the opportunity to grow.” (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
