Following the instructions of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Government has formed a package of decisions to support Ukrainian business during the war. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in his video address on March 7.
“We will exempt from payment of single social contribution (SSC) natural persons-entrepreneurs of the I and II groups during martial law and within a year after its completion. We will exempt enterprises and natural persons-entrepreneurs of the third group from paying SSC for employees who serve in the Armed Forces and other armed groups (including territorial defense). The fee will be paid at the expense of the state,” Denys Shmyhal stressed.
The Government will also postpone the payment of taxes for all enterprises that are unable to pay them, and will postpone the introduction of registrars of settlement operations for all natural persons-entrepreneurs.
“The Cabinet of Ministers will abolish all measures of market and consumer supervision in all matters except price regulation and control overpricing. A moratorium on inspections of all types for business has already been established,” Denys Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister stressed that all these decisions and a number of other additional decisions that were necessary for this package of support to work had already been adopted or would be approved by the authorities in the near future. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
