As of November 4, farmers of Poltava region harvested more than 975 thousand tons of sugar beets.
According to the Department of Agricultural Development of Poltava Regional State Administration, the region finishes harvesting of sugar beets, which are harvested from the area of 23.3 thousand hectares, or 90% of the planned.
975.3 thousand tons of beets have been harvested with the average yield of 418.4 hundredweights/ha. (Ukrsugar/Business World Magazine)
