The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased $159 million on the interbank foreign exchange market last week, according to data provided by the central bank.
According to the results of foreign exchange interventions, the National Bank bought $159 million on the interbank foreign exchange market between August 30 and September 3. The regulator also sold $7 million over the reporting period.
Since the start of 2021, the National Bank has sold $197 million and purchased $1.54 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
