President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky got acquainted with the completion of the overhaul of the state road H-14 Oleksandrivka – Kropyvnytskyi – Mykolaiv, restored within the framework of the Great Construction national program.
“I am very pleased that we see infrastructure changes in Mykolaiv region and that about 200 kilometers of roads will be constructed completely in Mykolaiv region this year. And we already see the quality. This is not just patching holes. Everything will be done at a very high level. The builders promise that that the H-14 road will serve for 50 years,” Zelensky said.
The scope of road construction and repair in Mykolaiv region is expected to increase 2.5-fold next year, the President noted.
He also added that large sums had not been allocated for road construction in this region over the past ten years.
“For some reason, politicians pay attention to the regions from which they come or in which they live. And I am very glad that Mykolaiv region is currently one of the priority regions in this matter. And that’s great,” Zelensky said. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
