Current repairs and maintenance work on state-important highways continue in all regions of Ukraine.
The priority remains highways that are of strategic importance for the country’s defense, the life of communities, and uninterrupted transport connections. Since the beginning of the year, over 16 million sq. m of road surface have already been restored. Road services are working taking into account safety needs and traffic intensity.
Over 90 thousand sq. m of roads have been restored in the last 24 hours alone. Work continues on highways of international, national, and regional importance.
“Safe and high-quality roads are the logistics, economic stability, and defense capability of the country. We continue to carry out repair work on roads to ensure uninterrupted transport connections between regions and the operation of international routes. Despite all the challenges of wartime, we are restoring road surfaces where it is most needed,” said the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
The work continues, in particular:
– In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the repair of the current section of the N-31 highway Dnipro – Tsarychanka – Kobelyaki – Reshetylovka has been completed, where over 280 thousand sq. m of road surface has been restored (near the settlements of Orilske, Mogilev, Kitaygorod, Tsarychanka). The work was carried out on separate maps, and now the application and restoration of road markings has begun;
– In Lviv region, repairs have been completed on key national highways: M-06 Kyiv – Chop, M-10 Lviv – Krakovets, M-11 Lviv – Shehyni, H-17 Lviv – Radekhiv – Lutsk and H-10 Stryi – Ivano-Frankivsk – Chernivtsi – Mamalyga, as well as on the Western Bypass of Lviv and the Southern Bypass of Gorodok;
– In Chernivtsi region, repairs with large “maps” have been completed on the M-19 Domanov – Kovel – Chernivtsi – Terebleche road. Spot work continues;
– In Sumy region, repairs have been completed on certain sections of the H-07 Kyiv – Sumy road with a total length of about 14 km. Repair work is currently underway on the H-12 Sumy – Poltava highway, where it is planned to restore more than 13 km of road surface;
– In Kirovohrad region, repairs have been completed on the bypass near Znamyanka (M-30) and the H-08 Boryspil – Kremenchuk – Dnipro highway. At the same time, work continues in the region on the H-14 Oleksandrivka – Kropyvnytskyi – Mykolaiv, H-01 Kyiv – Znamyanka and H-24 Blagovishchenske – Mykolaiv roads, which are scheduled for completion in July.
