The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has extended the deadline for submitting applications for state support for industrial parks. According to Ministry Order No. 247 dated August 15, applications for financial support can now be submitted to authorised banks until August 29.
State support for industrial parks is a key component of the “Made in Ukraine” economic development policy. This support is provided for infrastructure development and compensation of costs for connecting to electricity grids. Funding can reach up to UAH 150 million per park, with the state co-financing up to 50% of the project cost, or up to 80% for territories that have been de-occupied.
“Extending the application deadline provides an opportunity for even more projects to receive state support. Industrial parks are not just plots of land; they are a globally proven tool for rapid economic growth. They effectively combine investment incentives, infrastructure preparation, and managerial efficiency. These parks are a key mechanism for economic recovery, creating new jobs, attracting investments, and integrating our country into global production chains. Businesses can seize this opportunity now – the state has extended the deadline, so all that’s left is to submit an application,” said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Vitaliy Kindrativ.
In 2024, the state allocated over UAH 1 billion for infrastructure development in 15 industrial parks. In 2025, funding decisions have been made for two parks, totalling UAH 203 million, with five additional applications currently under review.
Additionally, local authorities can further incentivise investors by reducing property and land taxes and implementing their own support programmes. This fosters healthy competition among communities for new production facilities and promotes balanced regional development.
The successful implementation of this strategy will not only enable Ukraine to rebuild its economy but also elevate its competitiveness, positioning the country as a strong player on the global industrial stage. (Government portal)
