TAD has completed construction of a new complex for production of special trailers for transportation of oversized cargo in the city of Volochysk, Khmelnytsky region. This was reported by Dmitry Kisilevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.
Investment volume is $8 million. This project will allow TAD to launch production of a new type of product – modular special trailers.
The area of the complex is 8 thousand square meters. It will double the enterprise’s production volumes and create 250 additional jobs.
TAD specializes in transportation of oversized cargo and production of special trailers. TAD lowboys have from two to 25 axles with a maximum load of up to 300 tons. The enterprise employs 650 workers.
Kisilevsky noted that TAD used the “Made in Ukraine” policy for development of Ukrainian manufacturers.
In particular, loans were attracted under the “5-7-9” program, the products were sold using the program of compensation of 15% of the cost of Ukraine-made equipment.
In addition, the company’s products are subject to localization requirements for public procurement.
