Kyiv City Council approved the transfer of financial assistance to two cities of Ukraine – Kryvyi Rih and Konotop. The relevant agreements were signed on May 2.
Such decisions were made on May 15, at a plenary session of the Kyiv City Council.
Thus, the Kryvyi Rih city territorial community will receive 8 million hryvnias to eliminate the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, in particular to restore damaged housing and communal infrastructure and support affected residents. In return, the Konotop community was transferred 14 million hryvnias for the reconstruction of the children’s department of the Konotop Central District Hospital named after Academician Davydov.
“Kyiv does not remain aloof from the challenges faced by other communities. The capital continues to help those who need support most to restore critical infrastructure, eliminate the consequences of aggression, and strengthen the healthcare sector. The unity of Ukrainian communities is our strength, and it is through concrete actions that we demonstrate that we are working for a common victory and rebuilding the state,” the Kyiv City Council emphasized.
