“We are grateful for all the assistance provided by Japan since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. I am convinced that we have prospects for closer cooperation. The Ukrainian defence industry is interested in joint projects with Japanese companies, particularly in the field of equipment and machinery for the modernisation of production processes. I am convinced that we will find common interests and ways to cooperate, as the Ukrainian side is interested in a mutually beneficial and long-term partnership,” said Herman Smetanin.
