The situation in the power grid was stable on September 7: the electricity generated by domestic power plants is enough to meet the needs of consumers.
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may be affected by russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
In Odesa region, after receiving permission from the military, power companies repaired the power grids damaged by shelling and supplied electricity to all consumers in the town of Kiliya.
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Kharkiv region, a power company’s crew came under fire near Kupyansk while carrying out repairs. There were no casualties, but the ongoing repair of the power grids had to be suspended.
In the de-occupied part of Kherson region, work is underway to restore the grids. Over the past 24 hours, electricity was restored to 20 houses in one of the settlements of Kherson district.
Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
About 9,000 consumers in Kherson remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 16.02 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
Commercial electricity imports totalled 3,221.00 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia totalled 360 MWh and to Moldova – 173 MWh. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
