In the first week of 2023, the State Property Fund of Ukraine held 20 auctions for a total sum of UAH 6.5 million, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov announced.
“During the first week of the new year, in the first five working days, 20 auctions were held, including 8 property auctions and 12 rental auctions. There were 52 bids. The total amount of the winning bids is UAH 6.5 million,” the official said.
In particular, according to him, among the objects put up for sale was a summer camp in Odesa, the price of which rose almost 2.5 times, to UAH 2.6 million, a building in Zakarpattia region (the price rose 135-fold) and as well as several small premises in Lviv region, Kyiv region and other regions
Nemchinov noted that there were various participants in the auctions; Russia’s full-scale invasion did not scare them away.
“In general, during four months since the small privatization was resumed, from September to December, there were almost a thousand participants – 973. In total, the State Property Fund sold property worth UAH 2 billion. This is quite a lot,” the official said.
As reported, the first rental auctions in 2023 were held on January 4 and 6.
Since the small privatization was resumed on August 19, 2022, the State Property Fund has held more than 120 auctions via the ProZorro.Sale system. The total amount of winning bids came to UAH 1.8 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
