Finance Ministry says the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund has decided to provide grants to the first eight projects that presented their ideas at the first Pitch Day on January 25.
Seed grants (worth UAH 1.25 million or $50,979 each) will be provided to the following companies: AeroDrone (integrated solutions based on drones); GeoDesign.info (an online analytical center providing information about benefits and risks of opening a store/cafe/beauty salon depending on location); BIOC (bioplastic technology); FieldBI (an analytical and expert system for improving decision performance); Pravoman (a chatbot on legal issues) and Framiore (women’s clothing brand with its own sewing production), the ministry’s press service said.
Pre-seed grants (worth UAH 625,000 or $25,489 each) will be given to Pytag (an analytical platform for grain trade) and BioBin (a mobile app for managing consumption and waste).
