Passenger flow at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) decreased by 7.4% in January-November compared to the relevant period in 2018, the press service of the airport wrote on its Facebook page.
“In January-November Kyiv International Airport serviced 2.414 million passengers, down by 7.4% YoY,” reads the report.
The number of passengers serviced on international flights totaled 2.357 million.
The number of flights in January-November included 25,565 both arrivals and departures, up by 8.6%, of which there were 21,532 international flights and 4,033 domestic flights.
The most popular international directions in January-November were Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Rome (Italy), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), and Frankfurt-am-Main (Germany). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in the lead. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
