Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service (SFS) reimbursed UAH 45.4 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) in January-March, the SFS press service reported.
“Compared to the relevant period of last year, the amount of compensation grew by 34.8%, or by UAH 11.7 billion. UAH 38 billion worth of VAT was returned to taxpayers in January-March 2018,” the report says.
The State Fiscal Service also reported on the growth of average monthly amount of VAT reimbursement. In particular, the average monthly amount of VAT reimbursed in 2019 grew to UAH 15 billion from UAH 11 billion in 2018.
In March, UAH 12.6 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers, up by 25%, or by UAH 2.5 billion YoY. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
