The Baltic States are ready to offer five large ports within their borders to contribute to the export of Ukrainian grain to the global markets. The relevant statement was made by Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis on Twitter.
“The Baltic States have five ports that could be used to safely export much more of Ukraine’s grain,” Landsbergis wrote.
In his words, the Baltic countries are officially proposing the European Commission to help them increase rail capacity on the Baltic route. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
