In January-June Ukraine exported goods and services to the EU countries to the tune of $11.2 billion.
The exports to the EU countries in the first six months of 2018 totaled $11.2 billion (the exports in goods totaled $9.7 billion). Ukraine’s exports to the EU grew by $1.8 billion compared to the same period last year.
In January-June the largest export articles were non-precious metals and non-precious metal wares (to the tune of $2.4 billion), mechanical and electrical equipment, vehicles and machinery ($1.5 billion), and plant products ($1.3 billion).
The share of export to the EU countries in overall Ukraine’s exports is 42.1%. The share of EU countries in overall Ukraine’s imports is 41.5%. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
