The Russian region is interested in Belarusian automobiles. In 2018 MAZ’s sales in Yaroslavl region are expected to double. The company intends to ship about 100 trucks in addition to other products. The Yaroslavl region governor personally tested MAZ vehicles. During the tour of the company he drove the prime mover MAZ 5440S9 and went to try the low-floor urban MAZ 203015.
“The vehicles are very convenient. A modern ergonomic workstation with a wide view. Everything is very comfortable and convenient. It applies both to the truck and the bus,” said the governor afterwards.
At present engines made by Yaroslavl Engine Plant are installed in over 60% of the trucks MAZ makes. Most of them are sold in Russia. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
