The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Poland amounted to about $56 million in six months of 2017, according to the Polish side’s statistics.
During the period, Polish exports were 22.1% more as compared to imports, said the Polish embassy in Tashkent.
Meanwhile, the growth rate of supplies of Uzbek goods within this period was more than 150%, which indicated the high quality of Uzbek products.
Poland mainly exports chemical industry products (more than a third of the total volume), machines, equipment, vehicles and spare parts for them to Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan, for its part, exports cotton fiber and products of its primary processing (43%), products of the chemical industry (20%), plastics and products made of them (about 19%) and mineral products (more than 14%) to Poland. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
