Industrial production in Estonia in July fell by 3.1% compared to June, but rose by 4.7% compared to July of last year, according to data published by Eurostat.
Industrial production in the Eurozone rose by 0.1% MoM in July, but fell by 0.3% in the EU.
Meanwhile, July production increased by 3.2% YoY in the Eurozone and by 3.1% in the EU.
Industrial production increased the most in Slovakia (by 9.2%), Latvia (8.9%) and Romania (7.6%). Ireland recorded the biggest decrease in production (by 9.2%), followed by Denmark (3.1%) and Malta (1.7%).
Compared to June industrial production grew the most in Portugal (by 1.9%), followed by Ireland (1.8%) and France (0.6%). The biggest decrease, 9.8%, was recorded in the Czech Republic, followed by Hungary with 4.1% and Malta and Slovakia both with 3.3%. (ERR/Business World Magazine)
