New construction standards, which were developed in close cooperation with experts and will come into force this autumn, will allow renewing the street networks in Ukrainian cities and making urban infrastructure comfortable.
“Everyone has noticed that we live in the 21st century, real estate costs a fortune, but they build everything that looks like old. We have taken a decision on new standards; there are new orders by the Ministry of Regional Development (Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine) for residential and non-residential objects. We will oversee the introduction of these new norms into a beautiful aesthetical comfortable architecture in the cities. The norms for infrastructure projects will serve Ukrainians and will be comfortable. This is in line with European practices,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated, the Governmental portal reported.
As reported, in March Groysman ordered to immediately elaborate changes to the existing building standards aimed to cancel outdated requirements and to implement international standards. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
